My mother was a florist, and she would tell me what it was like to see her blooms put a smile on someone’s face — it was priceless. The bright colours, soft petals and a whiff of fragrance would fill the air, instantly reviving our senses and emotions.

Little did I know how much I would feel when surrounded by flowers, considering that I’d known them for most of my life! These botanical creatures had struck a cord within me, and it was utterly pointless in resisting them at all. Then came Daun & Petals, a sacred sanctuary where I could find joy daily in these fresh blossoms. Each day I would scout for the perfect flower, ones that I was sure of to make someone else happy.
